In many popular movies especially historical ones we can often watch the episodes when people play tennis, however there are not a lot of good movies precisely about what is going on on the court.

These are my 3 favorite movies about tennis that you can watch at home together with your family.

1.Wimbledon

Peter Colt is already in his 30s and is considering retirement from his tennis career. He has already dropped from 11th position in the world rankings to 119th, the youth are propping up, and the athlete decides to leave the courts after his last Wimbledon and go to work at a tennis club as a coach. But then he meets Lizzie Bradbury, a young risen tennis star. They fall in love. But how does it affect their performance on the most important tournament?

2. Borg/McEnroe

The film tells about the famous final match of Wimbledon in 1980 and the confrontation between the Swede Bjorn Borg and the American John McEnroe, which left a bright mark in the history of tennis.

It is the war of stoicism and pedantry of Bjorn Borg versus emotion and opportunism of John McEnroe.

3. Battle of the Sexes

It is the highest-grossing film of recent times about tennis on a Hollywood scale. The leading actors, Emma Stone and Steve Carell, were even nominated for their roles for a Golden Globe.

The movie tells a story about the formation of WTA tour and the historical fight of 1973 between the sports veteran, Wimbledon champion Bobby Riggs and 29-year-old tennis player, the world N1 – Billie Jean King, who decided to prove that women’s tennis is no worse than men’s …
