Glamping is a new word in outdoor recreation. You are in the middle of the forest, having breakfast overlooking the lake, cooking barbecue. At the same time, you live in comfortable conditions in a bungalow with a stylish interior, relax in an open-air jacuzzi and sleep on white sheets.

I present to you the top camping and glamping selection of from Anna Greenwald. She personally traveled all these places and wrote detailed reviews in her blog. I highly recommend her Instagram if you are going to travel around Latvia.

By the way, Anna, like me, travels together with her husband and a dog. Therefore, almost all the places on this list are equally suitable for a romantic weekend and traveling with a pet.

1. Peldmāja

Location: Ostmalas iela 12, Pāvilosta

Glamping consists of 6 houses standing on the water. Each house has its own yacht parking, terrace, kitchen and 4 sleeping places. But the most important thing is the stylish interior design and the river view. The campsite is only for the summer season.

2. Senču Sils

Location: Garkalne, Latvia

A unique holiday house is located on a small island 15 minutes drive from Riga. The main thing that distinguishes this glamping from others is its unique design. The exterior of the house is designed in the form of a rock, and the interior is striking in its lightness: white tones, beautiful wooden furniture. There is a small beach 200 meters from the island. You can rent a SUP and a jet ski, and there is a spa center with a swimming pool on the territory of the complex.

A night in the house will cost from 130 to 230 euros at different times of the year (without breakfast).
