Saint Barthelemy is literally an island of millionaires. Here you can turn into the Tatler magazine hero and have a LUX and expensive vacation. Once I have visited the island and discovered how to enjoy the St. Barth and don’t spend a lot of money.  And now I am going to show you my favorite places that you must visit in Saint Barth.

1. Gustaf III Airport – Saint Barthélemy Airport

The best experience of Saint Barth you already get when boarding. As Saint Barthélemy Airport has one of the shortest runways in the world, only little airplanes can fly to the island. And the process of boarding is a bit extremal so you gonna get lots of emotions. Another interesting thing about the airport at St. Barth Airport is that there is no boarding control. They don’t check your luggage! When you leaving the island.

But the place I am referring to is not the airport itself but a hill above the airport runway. It is only 10 minutes walking from the airport. The excitement of the place is that when landing a plane literally fly a few meters above your head. Many people just come to that place, taking photos and watching the landings.

2. Saint-Jean beach

The airport of St. Barth is very famous as it finishes with the paradise beach (on photo). Saint-Jean is my favorite beach on the island as it is very easy to reach, beautiful, there are few LUX beach restaurants and you can witness the airport landing right in front of you.

3. Grand Fond Natural Pool

Grand Fond Natural Pool is a surely must-visit place in Saint Barth. As you can get an amazing experience swimming among the cliffs and watching the sea urchins. The natural pool of St. Barth is also called “secret”, as it won’t be in any tourist guides. Follow the link to know How to find Saint Barth’s secret natural pool?

Colombier Beach

Colombier beach is the most difficult to reach, as you can’t get there by any transport but yacht or on foot. You park your car at the viewpoint (the 1st photo), take a stunning view photo and then hike to the beach. The trail passes through the jungle, along the hills and goes up and down, so it is quite exhausting. But it is a must-visit place in Saint Barth as you will be rewarded with a fantastic white sand empty beach.
