Pattaya is the most popular resort in Thailand as it is situated just 110 km from its capital – Bangkok. So there are plenty of ways how to get to Pattaya.
In my opinion, the best choice is to book a group shuttle. This way you will be met directly at the airport entrance and will be dropped at the Pattaya bus station. The whole journey will cost you 10 dollars per person which is way cheaper than the individual transfer and way more comfortable than regular transport as it has wifi on board. The shuttle leaves the airport every 2 hours. You can check the timetable and book it HERE.
Of course, the choice of transport between 2 cities is great: buses, taxis, trains. As Bangkok is a big city you have to think before choosing the departure point. Also, each bus company has its own timetable. Find the best way to get from Bangkok city to Pattaya on this website. Here you can see all the possible routes and companies.
Not everyone knows that there is an airport in Pattaya cheap flights to many Asian cities. So you don’t need to fly to Bangkok if your target is Pattaya. Just check the flights’ timetable HERE.
By bus, train, and ferry: usually, you need to combine different transports like airplane + bus. Or bus + ferry. Follow the link to plan your trip and find the best option for you.
