I won’t say that I’m an expert, but decided to share with you with a list of the best places I’ve eaten in my 4 trips to Lisbon.

1. Time Out Market

Atmospheric gastro market. Great place for lunch after walking around the city. You can come here with a big group. Everyone can order food in the restaurant they wish, and you will all sit down together. You won’t find the fast food here. Most of the counters offer seafood. You can try cuttlefish, oysters. But if it’s too much there is also a simple poke with salmon.

Address: Av. 24 de Julho 49

2. Manifest.Lisbon

A cult place with delicious breakfasts and huge portions. The place is also unique because, in addition to trendy eggs benedict, they serve familiar dishes, even syrniki, which we are nostalgic for in Western Europe. But the place is popular. So get ready to stand in line at the entrance.

Address: Rua da Sociedade Farmacêutica 31

3. Cafe Sao Lisboa

A coffee shop with delicious breakfasts and a very stylish interior. I got avocado toast, croissant and coffee here. Everything was delicious.

Address: R. de São Bento 102

4. Pastelaria San Antonio

In this cafe we ate the most delicious Pastel de nata in Lisbon. And the croissants are also awesome!

Address: R. do Milagre de Santo Antonio N.10

5. JNcQUOI

This restaurant is the most popular restaurant in Lisbon according to Instagram. There is also JNcQUOI Asia, but I didn’t like the service there. So you better come here. The check is above average. But they prepare delicious cocktails, and it’s very beautiful inside.

Address: Av. da Liberdade 182 184

Website link.

6. Quiosque das Portas do Sol

The kiosk with tables is located right on the observation deck of Portas do Sol. This is your chance to eat with amazing views. The system in the kiosk is as follows: first you need to stand in line, make an order, and then go with a tray to take a table on a stunned observation deck. This may take time due to the number of visitors. But definitely worth it.

We were sure that the best thing of the kiosk is the view. But in the end it turned out that the food there is quite tasty. Grab a Quinta Aveleda wine and a croissant. It’s just a sweet bomb!
